Pepa San Martín is a film and fiction series director.

Her career as a director begins with “LA DUCHA” (2011), short film premiered at Berlin International Film Festival, with which she wins the DAAD award, creative residency in Berlin where she directs her second short film “GLEISDREIECK” (2012) and the draft of her first feature film “RARA” (2016). With her first feature film, she is winner of the Jury Prize at Berlin Film Festival, in the Generation Kplus section, winner of the Horizontes Latinos Award at San Sebastian Film Festival, Best First Film at the Goa Festival, and the Audience Award at the Valdivia Festival, among eighteen other international awards. It was chosen Best Chilean Film at the 2017 Pedro Sienna Awards, from the Chilean Film Academy.

This year she directed the first series made in Chile for Disney “LLÉVAME AL CIELO” (2023) and is currently working on new productions for the production company Fabula, while preparing her second film “LA FELICIDAD”.
