Screenwriter, writer and film critic. 

With an extensive career working as a screenwriter in national television networks, Diego stands out in the national scene for his talent for comedy and genre (police, thriller and horror). 

As head scriptwriter he has worked in “AMOR EN SERIE Y AMOR AL AIRE” (2006) and “PASIONES” (2004).

As a scriptwriter of teleseries, stand out “FORTUNATO” (2007) “LOS ÁNGELES DE ESTELA” (2009), “PACTO DE SANGRE” (2018) and “PRECIOSAS” (2017), being also co-creator of “LA TORRE DE MABEL” (2022). 

He is currently writing international projects, such as the upcoming “LLÉVAME AL CIELO” (2023) and the series “EL BABY BANDITO: EL ROBO DEL SIGLO (2023)”. In addition, he is the current head writer for Canal 13’s upcoming nighttime soap opera, “SECRETOS DE FAMILIA” (2023).

Diego directed the short film titled “VIENEN POR TI” (2018), which had its premiere at Festival de Cine Fantástico y Género de Santiago.

Diego Muñoz also worked as a film critic for El Mercurio, under the firm Hermes el Sabio.
